Adjustable size fuel tanks

I just wanted to suggest making a way to adjust the exact height of a fuel tank, to hold as much fuel as you need it to.

I agree it would be nice to have something like procedural parts as stock rather than a pile of assorted size tanks.  If you're on PC, there are several mods that do this - Procedural Parts & SSTU that I know of.

Hey, I'd settle for Rockomax sized pure LF tanks.

We go from 400 unit small to 400 or 800 Mk2 and then to 2500 Mk3 without having anything reasonable that's just cylindrical.  If I want to build a nuke engined ship with 1600 units of fuel, it's a goofy collection of parts.

This something that should stay solely in the realms of mods, never stock.

The game was designed to be a modular rocket ship building game.  Having procedural tanks and such completely defeats the drag and drop nature of the intended game.

I like me my procedural parts and switchable fuels, but I like them as mods.
