Nearby craft no longer showing distance markers

Recently I lost markers for nearby craft.

This happens on land as well as in space.

Before I reinstall KSP, are there any less painful fixes/ideas?

Version 1.4.4.2215 PC 64 bit through Steam.

Pic: The craft in the Right of the picture has been tagged as a target.

Logs please. Any wierd things happened before this? 

Any updates on your computer?

Well, reinstalling is much less of a pain as it just involves copying out all the saves, delete, redownload, and paste the saves back to where you copied it from.

Maybe you accidentally pressed 'F4' and disabled the feature?

I'm starting to think that it wasn't accidental.

Now every time I start KSP I have to F4 to toggle on the markers.

I'll have a look at the settings to see if there is something that stands out,

but if you know it off the top of your head....do tell.

Found it:

Settings -> Game play -> show vessel labels

Don't even remember toggling that!
