What is the price of Liquid Fuel and Oxidizer?

Recommended Posts

I was literally asking myself the same question yesterday and at first I did what @The Aziz suggested, but then I remembered that I'd used that info somewhere in KerbalX and I'd got the information from a .cfg file.

All the answers you seek (at least for stock resources) are in <your KSP install>\GameData\Squad\Resources\ResourcesGeneric.cfg
That has unit cost and density for all stock resources. For liquid it's 0.8 funds per unit (160 per ton), oxidizer is 0.18 funds per unit (36 per ton).

LF is 0.8 funds per unit, and Ox is 0.18

Both have a mass of 0.005 tons per unit

These values are found in GameData>Squad>Resources>ResourcesGeneric.cfg

That means LF is 160 funds per ton and Oxidizer is 36 funds per ton.

Now 1 ton of "fuel" for a LFO rocket engine is 0.45 tons of LF and 0.55 tons of Ox, so that means 1 ton of "standard rocket fuel" is 160*0.45+ 0.55*36 = 91.8 funds per ton.
