RemoteTech 2 - am i doing something wrong

Recommended Posts

Hello fellows,

here it goes:

i have 3 low range comm satellites around kerbin. They all have omni antennas for connection with ksc and each has 3 dish antennas - 2 of them pointing to the kerbin moons and one pointed at the active vessel.

I have sent a remote probe to duna.

On the probe i have a dish antenna communotron 88-88.

Whatever i do i cannot get connection with ksc. I try pointing at any of the comm satellites or directly at ksc

It says - distance: 20gm, range: 40gm, status ok and then still no connection.

Heres two screens to illustrate the issue.

Nobody can help?

The antenna you are using looks like a dish but it is not a relay antenna. It is a direct antenna....the strongest stock direct antenna in the game. They probably made it look like a dish relay antenna because it is so strong. Unfortunately it is still just a direct antenna....so it can't relay through other antennas....
