New To KSP: Already Setting Myself Goals

Well, after watching KurtJMac play this I figured I'd take a shot at it (I mean its free, come on, gotta xD) and so I played around with it for awhile, mostly not serious stuff, but then I thought I'd really try for it. Not really basing it off anything, except for the info I gained from Kurt, I built myself a simple craft (not staged right but oh well) and set off for the stars. And this was the result

Well, I had so much fun with this game that I wondered whether I wanted to go ahead and buy the full game. I set for myself a goal, If I could get to the mun, I'd buy it. (Now after 6 attempts so far (more videos coming soon of them ) I've already gotten as far as crashing on the surface of the mun, almost got there so my possible purchase is very soon )

So hopefully I will soon join the ranks of the Kerbonauts, and many fun launches in the future.

Even getting to the Mun is an achievement, of course landing is as well, but you'll get there, experiment is the key.

When you land, try to land where you can see Kerbin, it's a beautiful sight

Yea, I'm on my 7th attempt, only 1 and 6 actually made it out of the atmosphere xD but I've finally gotten a viable craft to get AND land on the mun. (Almost made it the 6th one but the speed button at the end is REALLY fast so I accidentally overshot the mun -.- and wasted most of my fuel actually getting into orbit, but I'm very hopeful that this one I'll make it )

You could post your video threads to General Discussion, but now there is a proper blog system up and running, you could start a blog and put your vids there, that might work the best
