Hello There! Whats one fo the craziest things that happened to you in ksp?

General Kenobi! You are a bold one!

My craziest thing was when I built a small plane. As soon as it took off, the wings just ripped off and it glitched out, and I witnessed my plane suddenly in orbit around Moho

I think mine is my daughters cat swiping the space bar in the middle of maneuvering a satellite around the Jool system, resulting in the transfer stage being dumped prematurely and the satellite (that was supposed to be the main comm relay for Jool) being stuck in Tylo orbit

Somehow, while playing KSP, I opened a rift in time.

I started it up, and a few minutes later, hours had passed.

Seriously, I have two moments of "What just happened?".  The first is the time I built a crazy rocket, launched straight up, and hit the Mun.  My second is the mission I sent out a pod to the edge of Kerbin's SOI, and the deorbited it.  I seem to recall it was an 86 day flight.  Brought the pod back to a near-Mun apoapsis, near atmosphere periapsis, and barely had fuel to drop into an aerobraking orbit.  Eventually managed to reenter the pod, no fuel, no control, nothing.  Landed right off the coast of KSP.  Closest landing I've ever managed.

The craziest things that have happened to me have both been on the runway island.

The first time I sent a vehicle there, it roved around for a few minutes before suddenly appearing (minus a few parts) a couple of thousand km above Kerbin and heading away at high speed.

Before.

After.

The seconds event occured when I was sending a large lander there, with the intention of putting it down on the control tower roof, as part of a challenge entry.

This is the one I landed later for the challenge entry.

The first attempt had the lander come down about 100m from the tower, so I decided to take the pilot out and go for a wonder around.

But then once the pliot was walking away from the vehicle, it started to very slowly float up into the air, leaving him behind. It was probably moving at about 1m/s and was the creepiest thing to see.

That place should have a big concrete dome over it. Either that or a band of young kerbals in a colourful minivan needs to take a trip there to solve the mystery.

Probably a large asteroid self capturing from a Minmus (not Mun) gravity assist. I want to say it was an E class, but I may be exaggerating and it was only a C class.

Obviously, since it crossed the orbit of Minmus, it wasn't a stable orbit, but it would be relatively very long lived orbit, and not much was needed to stabilize the orbit.

Reposting this once again:

I have a small creepy story to share.

"You CAN'T pilot this thing, Jeb," groaned Bob. "I told you to use the autopilot."

"Okay, okay, let's try again with the autopilot then!"

8AkqCqq.png"Do you really have to fly full speed two meters above the surface?!"

"I've got it. This autopilot works flawlessly!"

The speeder approached the tower, climbed above its upper surface, and moved slowly towards the roof.

Then - everything went entirely dark and quiet. Bob could only hear his breath in the EVA suit.

Bob stood up, reorienting himself. His vision returned. The old tower was gone. He spotted a silhouette nearby.

"Jeb, is that you?"

"Jeb?"

"...Jeb?"

"Mission Control! Revert Revert! Rever..."

But Revert didn't help.

The control tower was not the only thing gone. The other thing gone was the Sun. And all other planets. Morning would never come again.

tl;dr: Throttle Controlled Avionics can't handle geometry of the old control tower as reference for altitude hold.
