fowlplaychiken2
Hello everyone,I am having difficulty performing a rendezvous, now that Mechjeb does not have the (admittedly less than ideal) rendezvous tool. I have the orbits pretty close, but for some reason I do not understand neither the original main vessel or the child vessel (using the 1 man Pod which allows an autonomous pod) shows with a red box around it. Visually I am having difficulty spotting either ship from the either in order to make a visual direct-burn approach. any suggestions, tools, etc that might help? Is there a hotkey for that red box I don't know about?Thanks!-FPC
sal_vager
Hi there fowlplaychicken2, this might help you out Also, what I do is this, once I have gotten within about 30km I sight down my ship like a gun barrel, and watch my target's movement relative to me, nothing else matters, just which way and how fast the target is drifting compared to your vessel, you don't even need the navball. Nibb31
I don't use the rendez-vous tool. It's confusing and unnecessary. The other features of the MechJeb are pretty much a requirement though.
togfox
The box will appear automaticaaly when you get as close as 100km. Do as salv and kosmo say and you cant lose.
