Splashing down RK-7 Kodiak on Kerbin

Hi there,

i dont know what i do wrong. i have to splash down the rk-7 Kodiak Engine on Kerbin. nothing easier than that.. i now tried several landings and all where ultra smooth landings no problem there. But then i wanted to test the Engine or activate through staging but the contract dont wanted to go green. i tried realy everything landing and activate with staging active first on run test and then activate even activated while splashing down with throttle.. But nothing happens here are my Screenshots, the tour took me also underwater ;). 

Have anyone an idea what wrent wrong ?

Welcome to the forums, @Badb3nd3r!!

So you need to test the Kodiak splashed down, right? You're splashed down, so everything is OK in that regard.

The problem is that you don't actually have a Kodiak onboard. The small orange ones are 'Twitch' engines, and the large two-nozzled one on the back is a Bobcat.

You're looking for this engine:

Don't worry, for splashed down tests you don't need to go underwater
