1.5.1 replacement for Mk1 Command Seat

Sorry if this was already covered, but I've been away from KSP for the last few months, and recently updated to 1.5.1.

Most of the mods that I used are there on CKAN, but I realized that the Mk.1 Command Seat is missing from the stock parts.  Take Command is also absent from CKAN.

Is there a current substitute for the seat, or is the concept completely removed from the sim?

Perhaps you're in career mode? I have the command seat available.

The reason that Take Command is missing is, I assume, because the functionality is now natively supported by KSP.

I don't know about the Mk 1 Command Seat mod, but TakeCommand was retired because its functionality was made stock in 1.5.

Ok, just checked.  The Seat is available in Sandbox Mode, but not in Career.  (???)

Does this mean I can't use it at all in Career mode?

I've looked through both the stock techtree and the Community, but can't find it anywhere.

It just means you haven't unlocked it yet, I would imagine.

Ok, found it, about five levels deep into the stock techtree.  Gonna have to do a little editing, i think...lol
