so im working on a solution for the 3x3x3 but im stump on researching algs, anyone know an alg that swaps to corners and doesnt mess with the orientaion of said cubies?

Can you clarify the purpose of this post?  I'm guessing you're talking about Rubik's Cube or some similar puzzle, but this is the KSP forum and your post is a bit of a non sequitur-- could use some context.  ;)

Really, it depends on whether you're solving corners first or edges first. I'm guessing this is for the last layer.

R' F R' B2 R F' R' B2 R2 U' is probably the algorithm you're looking for. This swaps the upper front corners and keeps them pointed the same way upwards. But it also swaps some edges around.

R U’ R’ U’ R U R’ F’ R U R’ U’ R’ F R swaps the top left corner and the bottom right corner (and also two edges). If you do a couple of setup moves to move the corners into those positions, then do this algorithm, then undo the setup moves, you can end up with the corners in the desired position and orientation by knowing the the top left sticker in the U face will be swapped with the bottom left sticker on the R face. This works for any two corners.

thanks for the help but im also trying to not mess around with any of the edges. though the algeritms you perpose could be useful in cases.

Unfortunately it's not possible to have a pair of corners swapped without also swapping a pair of edges or another pair of corners.

oh well thanks for the help anyway, if you  guys want to help is it possible to just swap to edges?

If you could swap just two edges, you could add onto the corner-and-edge swap algorithm and make a corner-only algorithm. Since we know a corner-only algorithm is impossible, we know an edge-only algorithm is also impossible.

Or at least, it looks that way from here. I'm not a cubist.
