Test the 24-77 "Twitch" Liquid Fuel Engine splashed down at kerbin

Recommended Posts

I accepted this contract and went straight into the VAB and built a small craft. It was just capable of flying up and then using parachutes to drift down. I then activated the Twitch engines and went to check the contract only to find out I haven't even done any objectives. I did it again in case I reverted instead of recovered, I also tried different methods, including starting them in the air and also starting them in the water but it refuses to say I completed it, nor do I get the money. I'm confused on what to do and I made this account to ask this. Please tell me if you would like me to put in a picture.

Thanks (whatever my username is)

If you open the right click menu (called a "context menu" or a PAW) for the engine, there should be a button that says "run test". You have to be in the water before you run the test. You can usually also run the test by staging the engine, but you have to do it while it's in the water.

If that doesn't complete the contract, then you probably have a slightly corrupted game download. Do you know how to do a file validation on steam? You would need to do that.

Or

1. Create a rover with a twitch on it.

2. Drive your rover into the water.

3. Use the context menu to run the test on the twitch.

4. Drive the rover back to the runway and then recover it.

5. Profit even more, because you get a 100% refund on your equipment.
