At the Johnson Space Center, I got to touch a moon rock brought back from one of the Apollo missions.

Funny enough, that Antares launch was the first live rocket launch I saw (even though it was via the internet).

The second rocket launch I saw live (also through the internet) was a Falcon 9 launch. It got scrubbed and IIRC the booster didn't land properly when it actually launched.

 

I've refrained from seeing live rocket launches ever since.
