Phineas Freak
You have at least an incorrect version of AJE (probably using CKAN?) so i'd start from there: https://github.com/KSP-RO/AJE/releases

VoidCosmos
@Phineas Freak what else was causing those crashes? Thank you for the help in figuring that out.
Xd the great
Is using 64bit on ksp v 1.2.2 a good idea? You can try to start a new game in ksp v 1.3.1 or 1.4.5. Most RO mods are updated.

I dont have this on my 1.3.1 here. Navball reads THROTTLE and G-FORCE, looks just fine. Just had a look, in stock, RSS and SSRSS. All three Navballs look okay. I run RSS on 1.3.1 without much problems, even the RSSVE works fine. Much better performance than I had on 1.2.2. I always suggest 1.3.1 to people who ask about RSS these days. VoidCosmos
The crash is fixed but there is one problem. I fixed the crash by removing mechjeb latest dev build and putting the 1.2.2 version. There is one problem, while loading the squad engine folder, it pauses the loading but it responds. Dafni
as in your files must be corrupted. I have many many 1.3.1 installs going now, all kinds of planet packs, RSS ones, SSRSS ones, and I have never ever seen a chinese navball.
