  1. 1. Right now I'm still on my Elcano trip, but what should I do after that ?

    • Go to the deepest point of Kerbin
    • Go to the highest point of Kerbin

Flying sub, atom-powered-submarine, bad acting, Irwin Allen.

Whoa.  Looks like a lot of retreads in models, sets, and cast from "Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea".  With early 1970's clothing and styling.  And wow, looks like it's badly dubbed from the lack of synch between video and audio.

Irwin Allen was famous for being cheap (Did I say 'Cheap"? I meant really, really cheap) and recycling stuff (Costumes, decors, clips, file footage, rejected pilots, you name it. he used it) from all is past productions.

Oh, do I know it.  Saw all 4 of his SF TV productions in first run when I was young.  Strongest memories are of the oldest ("Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea") because it was syndicated more than others, as well as the most recent ("Land of the Giants") as I was oldest during its first run and it had the most reuse and thus it's more memorable because of the callbacks. :)

The films he produced tended to be better.  Even now, I'd say "The Poseidon Adventure" (1972) and "Towering Inferno" (1974) are worth watching.  Not high cinema art, but workable.
