Horizontal Mk1 Crew Cabin connection

Recommended Posts

I'm a new KSP Player from Israel.

This probably a dumb question, but I wasn't able to figure it out or find an answer online.
On this Duna base video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svE9Bkdo1AM&t=1s) by Matt Lowne.
How did he connect the Mk1 Crew Cabin on both sides?
Example : I'm trying to connect two upright PPD-10 Hitchhiker with a horizontal Mk1 Crew Cabin.

Hope to get an answer.
Tnx.

What part in the video are you referring to? Can you give the timestamp? I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary...

Try using the BZ-52 Radial Attachment point, https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/BZ-52_Radial_Attachment_Point  it's pretty useful better then the cubic octagonal strut in situations.

Not Working... already tried that

Welcome to the forum @Tal Weinberg, the following method should work.
First I created a sub assembly with the BZ-52 Radial Attachment point and the hitch hiker and re-rooted the BZ-52 to be the root part. Then I saved it:

It will now attach to the Mk1 cabin if I merge it into the design:
