Breaking Ground Mac right click-drag doesn't work

Camera movement is fine in VAB, but does not work in flight at all.

Not sure if it's BG or 1.7, but my wireless Mac mouse is not reliable in game. Plugged in  mouse works fine, 100% of the time, and it's not the mouse being disconnected, it works for all but moving the camera view in KSP, and I can use it in other windows just fine. This is a new behavior.

Yeah, I never thought of that

It's not the batteries, the MOUSE works, right click in KSP does not always work. Move mouse to another window (while right click not working in KSP), mouse right clicks works, back to KSP, doesn't work.Right click not working in flight, revert to VAB, view drag works as expected.

Battery issues would disconnect the mouse, it would not make the mouse right click not work, but only in flight.

Strangely  enough, I have seen situations like this where replacing the batteries fixes the problem

I replace the batteries all the time, I have rechargable batteries.

This cannot possibly be the cause, as the right click works literally a pixel outside the KSP window.

So you are suggesting that the battery knows what application I am in, and what window of that application (VAB vs flight), then decides to not provide power---to right click only---in that situation?

I should add that when I first posted this it was all the time (because it happened, and I immediately quit to post here). It is not, it can work in flight some of the time, not other times. Once it stops working in flight mode, however, it does not come back without restarting the game.

100% of the time when it does not work, all other mouse functionality in game works, and right click also works in the VAB 100% of the time, and it works 100% of the time in any non-KSP window on the computer. Right-click not working in flight, click on desktop, then right-click there... works fine.

No.  Just that as apps interface differently, and sometimes what would show an error in one app would have a workaround in another

Which is why when I open previous versions (I have many different KSP installs) this never, ever happens, when in BG (and updated KSP, haven't checked minus BG) it eventually always happens?

 

(By "eventually," it has so far happened in every single flight given time. I managed a few suborbital flights (rockets) without noticing it, but as soon as I have any dwell time in the flight window, it will happen. Opened a few previous versions, never happens.)

Same problem here... Right click doesn't work anywhere except VAB. Any workaround ?
