I find this very unintuitive.

How do I:

 

1. Edit the page?  I tried editing a typo and wound up creating a duplicate posting.

2. Make a hyperlink?  The only hyperlink tool says "link to wiki". I pasted a video link and wound up with all sorts of messy code around it.

It is not very intuitive.

1) The 'Edit' button at the very top, followed by the 'Edit' button to the right of Description in the compose window. 
But maybe that is what you did, but still got a duplicate.  In any case, Squad linked them as duplicates so harm done.

2) Links, input just as you typed yours, used to show up correctly,
but within the past two months started to show up as the raw html that would normally be interpreted by a browser to create a clickable link.  So some html generation has gone wrong; maybe it will be set right in future, but until then people will have to copy the links explicitly to follow them.
