This is a simple challange, go to minmus, land, and go back home with the EVA Thrusters.

Scoring will be the follow

100pt - Land on Minmus

50pt - Start EVA ascent

100pt - Archive Minmus orbit

200pt - Land* on Kerbin

Bonus

50pt - Simulating a "Minmus landing gone wrong".

100pt - Landing on any Minmus pole

200pt - Landing* near KSC.

*you don't need to make it alive since the EVA Thrusters can't lift you up on kerbin

Proof: Try to lift using RCS on Kerbin. You can't, so you have absolutely no hope of slowing.

What about reaching a craft in Kerbin orbit, with those external drop pod things. Would that be possible? (Maybe the craft should RV with the Kerbal instead...)

It is impossible to land on kerbin with the RCS thrusters. Might I propose a different change? How about RCS return from Minmus (is this possible? I need to try?) and have the kerbal picked up by a rescue craft in orbit around Kerbin. This is how I will do it. The rules don't say how to land, only that must EVA pack home.

The rules don't actually say anything about landing on Kerbin alive. Although that is certainly possible to do without technically boarding anything. I will be making an entry in this later today or tomorrow.
