KSC buildings - Wind tunnel

Just watched the cinematic teaser for KSP 2. Wow! Hope we get upgrades and access to other facilities at the KSP, especially the Wind Tunnel at the R & D complex. How many Kerbal lives and how much equipment could be saved by first testing our designs in the wind tunnel?

FAR has tools that basically simulate wind tunnel testing now, by exposing the calculations that it has to do anyway in flight. I hope they bake that into the stock SPH.

I'd like to see a wind tunnel in stock...  or just visible drag/lift vectors in the SPH with a wind speed slider. 

Not interested in mods for it.  Unless I create them.

Fluid dynamics are an integral part of creating streamlined craft. We shouldn't have to cheat to tell what parts of our craft are unnecessarily draggy.

I've never thought of this before, but when I saw your post it actually does seem like a good addition to the game that would probably get good useage. I've always had issues with drag, so a safe way to test that would be incredible.

Wind tunnel is one of the things I really hope gets into KSP1. Can also hopefully test for bugs. And hopefully get more numbers to see structural limits and other things to design craft better.
