Wheehaw Kerman
I wouldn’t waste time worrying about this happening. It’s totally contrary to the spirit of the game and the devs have given precisely zero indication that this will ever be a part of the game. ”We came in peace for all Kerbkind.” -Jebediah Kerman almost certainly. Lowi_Sace
The game was never about that. Also adding this would probably increase the minimal age rating for the game. You could also easely make weapons out of the parts in the game. Mods could add more stuff for the players who really want it. For DLCs they will probably add planets/star systems and parts like new engines/feuls, propellors, balloons, heath shields etc. I just hope the base game works great so there will be a good game to extend on and for modders to make it fun for everyones crazy ideas

Meredith Nathaniei
I would say that the United States and the Soviet Union had a large cooperation in the space industry, and the red camp does not represent nuclear weapons or competition, but one possibility of cooperation. SingABrightSong
Since this thread apparently refuses to die, I will say that I expect the claims "Players will point rockets at each other and blow up each other's bases" and "The multiplayer will be largely cooperative" to be true simultaneously. That is, it will be a largely cooperative multiplayer game where players will blow up their friend's stuff as a joke, then help them put it back. Well If I were to troll a competign space agency I would try to land several asteroids (slowly and delicately ) int heir launchpad just to see them suffer to remove it

One of the things I love most about KSP is the non-violence. There are plenty of other game which let you build and fight with weapons. Let this stay clean. I’m sure there will be mods for it, but let’s not contaminate the base game with weapons, conflict and violence Totally agree. KSP’s core experience is exploration and discovery. It’s kind of an idealistic utopian game when you get right down to it, Kerbals are living in a society where they’re united and working together to explore the universe which is beautiful. I like it that way
Buzz313th
No Please! No Way. Please don't add weapons to this game. Weapons will ruin it.

That would remove the "all ages" restriction the game has right now, with all kinds of side effects, so no worries.
darthgently
The fireworks function as weapons of sort if mishandled. Like real fireworks!
