Double attach nodes?

Recommended Posts

Nope. Craft in KSP use a tree-like structure, where each branch can many-furcate into different lines, when you radial attach, but they can never join each other, unless through creative use of struts, which btw are broken if you attach them to robotic parts (as is autostrut). Even with struts, the model in the code doesn't actually connect them; the game just tries to make sure that they stay together. If you knock the base off them, they will fall apart even if strutted on.

I came up with this. I just need to make a good way of controlling and presetting the weights.

first time using these parts. So, it may be obvious. Still looking for a better solution though.

If auto strut is on grandparent on everything it is pretty solid. Also using maximum connecting force on the docking ports. I also applied rigid attachment to all parts in the balast tank.(Docking ports, large holding tank, Rods)

Is there a way to double attach nodes? I assume I could use docking parts to connect.

Only way to get looping structures is with docking ports or struts.

The whole point in the ship I Put it in is for empty weight. Plus I could convert it into fuel. It allows me to configure things differently. Plus it can be used to top the front of the vehicle down to get stuff out the front ramps.
