plane not affected by the air resistance when in map view 1.8

I have noticed it just after upgrade to 1.8 version, I don't think it was there before that.

The plane barely able to reach the speed up to 350 m/s, after a briefly  switching to the map view,  is darting at 600 m/s

Just because the numbers fit, I have to ask. Did you perchance switch from Surface to Orbit mode?

No, not that. But I re-checked it, and map view has nothing to do with it. The plane just overall performs much better then the last time I was using it. At least it seems so. I need to look into it further, for now please delete this thread.

The game is back to normal.

I started to think that I remember something wrongly. But there must have been some bug. After the latest patch, this plane cannot exceed 350 m/s again.
