So I really wanted to 3D pint my ksp ships that i made. i found the most popular tutorial but after a while i noticed some problems. this hadn't been updated in a Long time. from my understanding the add-ons only work for ksp version 0.9.0 and blender version 2.72 i believe. i can only install 1 add-on and the other just says theres something wrong with the code. i have tried it on an older blender but no luck i was wondering if anyone has made a new method of getting the ships into an stl file.

Without specific references (ie links) to the addons and such you are referring to, vague pronouns don't give us much to work with.

This topic does pop up from time to time, but IIRC, I have not seen much development in that arena.

I think the biggest issue, and I might be wrong here, so feel free to correct me, is that while each individual part is stored as a file that can be fairly easily converted to an STL, a craft itself is only stored in a text file, and the game uses that file to build the vessel.    I almost think it might be easiest to import all the stock parts individually as stl's, and then build a replica craft in your CAD/Slicer.
