Screen Glitches in Full Screen Mode

Recommended Posts

I am using a late 2019 16" MacBook Pro. Whenever I open and play Kerbal in full screen mode, the screen glitches and gets covered in red lines. Attempting to screen shot it clears the problem, but as soon as I click something again, the screen glitches again. I've posted a link to a google drive file of a short video of it occurring. I deleted all my Kerbal files some time ago, mods and all, so to my knowledge this is a fresh install of Kerbal. Whenever it is not in full screen mode, I do not have this problem.

The same thing is happening to me, also on a late 2019 MacBook Pro. Brand new machine, fresh Steam / KSP install. Enabling full screen makes the graphics glitch so badly that it's hard to get it out of full screen mode.

Is there any fix for this? Playing in windowed mode on a brand new machine is a bummer.

I don't have a Mac but I've seen this problem and a potential solution on the Steam forums. Find the KSP.app file of your install, "right click" (might be command and click if you have a single button mouse, or whatever combo it is. I know one exists but, I haven't used a Mac in years) and choose get info, then tick the "start in low res" box.

Another thing that had bitten me in the past is Facebook on Safari.

For some reason, when I use Facebook while KSP is running, sometimes (I think it's related to that 3D pictures, but I'm not sure) I got glitches on KSP, as this one:
