Krakotte Posted May 10 Share Posted May 10 There are numerous lithium-ion battery chemistries. “Lithium-ion” is more of a class of products than a specific type of battery. Lithium-Iron-Phosphate batteries, that are more and more used by car manufacturers, are far less susceptible to undergoing thermal runaway that some other Li-ion chemistries.
