Launchpad bug

So this bug has happend to me a few times, I try to launch a rocket but when i click launch it says that my rocket is too big to launch even though it's maxed out. I have fixed in the past by just creating a new save and coping the craft file across but i dont want to do that as i have a fair few crafts on the go. Does anyone know a fix.

Edit: realised i was CKAN cloning from 1.8 so fixed that and it this bug went away, lost loads of crafts though so not a real fix

Try upgrading the launch pad.  You need a level 3 launchpad to be able to launch that big of a rocket.
