unable to place breaking ground experiments

Hello all. I just started playing again, but the last time i did play was before the breaking ground expansion, so please forgive me if the anser is obvious and im missing it. ive done a bit of searching but havnt been able to find someone else with the same problem. i might be wording the question poorly though.

So, ive landed on mun, and brought with me some of the deployable expiriments, but i cant remove them from the storage container and place them in my kerbol. For some reason my kerbal doesnt have any inventory?

Hi @C.RyanStephens, and welcome to the Forums.

Someone else had the same problem a few weeks ago, but I don't remember how that was resolved: either by removing a mod that caused this problem, or by fixing a corrupted KSP installation. (If you use Steam, then the latter can be done by running "verify local files" from the Steam client.)
