[1.3.1] Ferram Aerospace Research: v0.15.9.1 "Liepmann" 4/2/18

Wings(both stock and procedural) are not shielded if I put them inside a procedural fairing, procedural interstage fairing, KW rocketry fairing or B9 cargo bay. Other parts are shielded fine. I don't know if they could be shielded before because I've never put a wing inside a fairing in earlier versions. Could someone confirm this please?

Maybe there's a way to put IsShielded = True to needed parts and they will be automatically shielded?

I'm glad the update came out so quickly, but I've encountered a problem while trying to play with the 64-bit version of KSP .24. When I try flying a plane I get a flood of NullReferenceExeptions the instant my velocity is anywhere above 0, and naturally my framerate suffers drastically. I removed all mods except for ModuleManager and FAR, and the problem persisted. Here's my KSP.log file for reference:

KSP.log is useless. You must upload the output_log.txt instead, as that will actually have a stack trace to the source of the error.

I suspect that you are not actually running FAR v0.14, as constant nulls when velocity is above zero is a result of an older version of FAR.

The first null is happening in the code that determines what parts are what.

Confirm that you have (working from the KSP root directory) a file at GameData/FerramAerospaceResearch/FARPartClassification.cfg. Then confirm that there are two blocks inside that file labelled "GreebleModule" and "GreebleTitle"

@FenrirWolf: I have confirmed the issue; something is corrupted with the older example ships that FAR includes. It only occurs with them; all other vehicles are fine. I'll look into what's wrong with them.

@ObsessedWithKSP: I don't believe there's an option to use the stock toolbar in the map. In any case, I don't see why you'd open or close the FAR window there; you're either in space, in which case it's useless, or you're in the atmosphere on a long-haul flight, in which case, you probably already opened it.

So it's a game limitation then? Hmm.. seems an odd one. I don't have any other mods that use the stock toolbar (so far) so I didn't know if this was ferrams choice or if it was just how things had to be. That, and I don't know how to word it - "make mod buttons on the toolbar available in map view"?

EDIT: You make a good point, ferram. Guess I was just surprised to see it go, is all.

Sweet, I was just about to mention that I've only tried the stock FAR ships. Waiting on Interstellar to update before I try loading my old plane designs
