Bar27262
I think that the KSP 2 developers should add in more Launch Abort systems that could protect the life of the crew should something happen. The normal launch abort system is a good choice but I think there could be slightly improved options. Perhaps there could be ejection seats (one way to possibly do this is have a MK2/MK3 cockpit with ejection seats already coded in that can be activated separately.) and also a system similar to SAS or reaction wheels that you could put on a spacecraft that can automatically activate the launch abort system if there is favorable realistic conditions. This could save a lot of peoples kerbals life in career mode, even more so if you make ejection seats start out as a starting technology. You could go for progressively better ones as technology goes on. Come to discuss and let me know what you think.
shdwlrd
Its a good idea. I've used the ejection mod before and it did save my Kerbals from my poor flying skills.

Lewie
I just noticed this, but the thrust at sea level for the stock escape system is 666.6 m/s. Coincidence or not?
