Changing Visiblity Conditions

Recommended Posts

Hi! I've been on a quest recently to make my game harder and therefore more interesting. One idea I had was a way to implement changing visibility conditions so you can try to land your spaceplane in a fog, or just look good from a distance. I know that scattered implements a limited fog mechanism, but that's just so you can't see the entire planet.

Does there exist a mod that randomly changes visibility conditions?

(If not, I'll use my rudimentary Unity knowledge to make one)

Not as far as I know, but I think there would be interest.

I have seen screenshots with dramatic dark clouds, but I assume these were custom EVE configs that actually affect the whole planet.

I think that the challenging part will be getting the clouds visible from space to match the local weather. I’m not sure how EVE manages this.
