and I don’t mean the actual part- that’s easy as pie.  I mean just renaming specific instances. It’s not even a quality of life feature. Just a thing so I don’t expect it to be implemented, HOWEVER.

1. It adds a sense of realism. Plus you can say “Gigantor #3 has been smashed” or smthin.

2. You can sort parts if you have two of the same kind that serve different functions.

3. You can name the parts just random and funny things if that floats your boat. I sometimes call my experiment modules “science cans”. It’d be funny.
