Ron_Shadow_TTM
I've re-installed KSP via Steam (v. 1.9.0) as neither of the two dlcs were loading properly on start-up. The KSP log file is filled with errors, such as missing texture errors. I don't have any mods installed and I've tried to verify the integrity of the game files already multiple times without noticing any change. Furthermore, I can't place the KAL-1000 controller neither in the VAB, nor the SPH. Clicking it results in a click noise, but I can't get it out of the inventory. Is there any way of fixing this issue? I'd be fine with being able to make use of that KAL-1000 controller. This is the error that I'm getting on start-up: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UWauzQ-F2PKMZDdf4z6fHmMIVrdHlNGB/view?usp=sharing This is the KSP log file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fNGJmguu_zBqxq3jy8k8vyOOD1zm1QiY/view?usp=sharing
Ron_Shadow_TTM
Possible solution: Check your file path. Apparently there was (and maybe still is) a bug that would cause this exact issue to happen if your file path contained spaces and the plus symbol. What does this mean? - C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\SquadExpansion\Serenity -->would work - C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal+Space+Program\GameData\SquadExpansion\Serenity -->would work - C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal+Space Program\GameData\SquadExpansion\Serenity -->ERROR: The following expansions failed to load:D:\KSP Installs\1.8.1+MH+BG\GameData\SquadExpansion\MakingHistory\makinghistory.kspexpansion: Unable to load the Expansion Master Bundle.D:\KSP Installs\1.8.1+MH+BG\GameData\SquadExpansion\Serenity\serenity.kspexpansion: Unable to load the Expansion Master Bundle. The exact bug report: https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/24391 It probably took me almost 2 days to figure this out. If your expansions won't load properly and you get such an error, check your file path. Either only use the plus symbol for spacing or only uses spaces. If you use both spaces and the plus symbol, the expansion won't properly load. I hope this was helpful.
AHHans
Hi @Ron_Shadow_TTM Do I see it correctly that you solved your problem, or is there still an issue?
