KSP Loading Screen Freezing on Mac

Hey! I am having a problem where KSP will not load. The loading screen text and images change, but the bar never gets past the "Loading Asset Bundle Definitions" stage. I am running KSP version 1.8.1 with no mods (but I do have the Making History expansion installed) on MacOS Catalina version 10.15.4. I have tried all the solutions I could find, but so far none of them have worked. Our Mac is set up with multiple users, and KSP loads fine on the admin user but will not load for any of the other users. Is there any solution to this?
