docking and transfer crew

Recommended Posts

Newbie question warning!

I'm making ground docking activities to prepare my kerbonauts to perform spaces fancy stuff!

I succeeded docking two vessels but the only way I found to transfer crew between vessels is performin EVA. Shouldn't be possible to have kerbonatus to pass through docked doors?

@Joe Kerbal You can right click on one of your crew capsules and click Transfer Crew. It should come up with a menu prompting you to choose a Kerbal to transfer. Once you've selected one of your Kerbals you can click another one of your capsules to transfer the Kerbal to that part. If the part is available for crew transfers it should be highlighted blue, otherwise it should be orange.

That's exactly what I did but the other craft modules result as not available. Maybe I'll add a screenshot of the configuration

Oh sorry about it. The two spaceship looked docked but they were just very close. Now they are locked and the stuff works. thankyou in any case

Crew modules have a maximum occupancy so if both of your docked craft are full of Kerbals then you won't be able to transfer any crew around unless one or more of the Kerbals leave the modules and do an EVA.
