KSP Crashing on Startup; Gets the error code - Unity2019.2.2f1_ab112815d860

Hello everyone, I have an error for Kerbal Space Program which is that my un-modded install crashes on startup. I receive the error code of - Unity2019.2.2f1_ab112815d860. My specs are: i7 6700, gtx 1070, 16gm ram, and windows 10 version 1903 (Os Build 18362.778). Any suggestions will help. I looked around a thread from a few years back, but it got no where. Thanks!

I am getting the exact same thing on launch. Plain vanilla Steam download without any additional mods installed.

My specs are: AMD A8-3850, Radeon 6550hd graphics, 6gb RAM, Windows 10 64-bit

 

Any help would be gratefully received - my son is really looking forward to playing this!

A quick google of the error code found a thread on Steam:

The suggestion there is to verify game file integrity and if that doesn't work, reinstall the game. Try that and see if the problem is resolved.
