How do I get rid of a directional arrow?

Recently started playing again. Everything was working fine but now I've got a "directional arrow" coming out of the top of my rockets. The only mod i have is MechJeb and it seems to have stopped working. Any ideas?

I suspect you may have an old version of MechJeb and your game has updated to v1.9.1, try installing the latest version and it might fix the problem.

Screenshots would be helpful though, what sort of arrow is it?

I forget what setting in MJ it's under, you'll have to dig around a bit, but you can have it display things like COM, COL, etc, and I think direction of travel is one of them, Prograde even.   Dig around and you might find it. 

But make sure your version of MJ is the right one for the version of KSP you are playing.   A mismatch would cause some functionality problems.
