Can a late 2013 iMac run Kerbal Space Program well?

Recommended Posts

I've been playing the console edition for about a year and a half and I really enjoy it a lot. That being said I have been thinking about moving over to the pc version of the game. The console port is decent imo but the pc version just seems like it is supported better and the controls seem like they would be more natural on pc, not to mention extreme lag. I just worry that my computer won't be able to handle it much either...

These are my specs:

Late 2013 iMac, 21.5 inch

Processor: 2.9 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 1 GB

Also on a different point if I do buy the game should I buy it off of Steam or directly from the Kerbal website?

If you are worried about playability on your machine, then get it from Steam.  They have a return policy, something like 2 hours of playtime or 2 weeks past purchase.

If your machine was a Win10 PC, You would have no problem playing the game at lower settings, so I would guess (Mac guys confirm this?) you should be fine with your Mac.

I gotcha, thanks for the response. I think I'm going to stick with the console edition for a little while instead.
