Resolution Changes During loading.

I have just bought KSP on steam and been playing for a few days, I run it on my laptop and since it isn't that powerful I want to run it with a 1280×720 resolution, but every time I load a craft onto the launch pad, or make the game use a loading screen the resolution resets to 1920x1080, it is really frustrating. I read a couple of other posts but couldn't seem to find a solution short of changing my desktop resolution to 1280x720.

 

Any suggestions?

Install the mod AnyRes with CKAN, it can change resolution on the fly
