New updates (1.9/1.10) in ps4

We don't even have 1.8 on consoles yet, and that was released for PC 9 months ago.

Typically Console updates seem to happen 12-18 months behind the PC releases, but it varies.   I'm guessing this is due to confirming that a PC release is stable, and then they have to ship it off to an outside studio to do the port to console, and that takes time.  So the bottom line is, we don't recommend you hold your breath.

And even after all that, we still don't get everything that was part of the same PC update, which is kind of a kick in the junk considering how long we have to wait.  Notably lacking are some quality of life improvements (I'm looking at you, better burn time indicator, adjustable docking port attraction force, maneuver mode widget, etc)
