I just opened ksp, mods been loaded and it should show a main menu but this appears forever.

If the game fails to load then it’s almost always because something threw an exception when the game was booting up, unfortunately there’s no warning about that on the screen though. Find the logs as suggested above and post those, it’s usually fairly obvious where the problem is (search for Exception or EXC, case sensitive) and will usually show which mod(s) are responsible for the problem.
