Module manager/mechjeb preventing game from loading

Recommended Posts

Whenever I load up with module manger or mechjeb installed, it stops the loading at "Verifying expansion Breaking Ground/Serenity" normally it doesn't even show this, whenever I see it on my loading screen its game over. There are so many mods I want that require module manager please tell me there is a solution.

also the captcha is so annoying lol

You have mods, one of which has a problem, probably missing something.

we need a log file to help.

Also, what captcha?

When the game stops loading at the expansions, it's almost always because an exception or error has occurred and the game can't load. Check the logs- KSP.log inside the KSP directory and Player.log/Player.txt which varies by OS and version of KSP (in Windows 10 and KSP 1.8+ it's at C://users/your_username_here/AppData/LocalLow/Squad/Kerbal Space Program)- and they should tell you what failed and how.

A list of mods would also help, as would your version of KSP. Make sure any mods you're using are compatible with your version of KSP too as incompatible mods are an easy way to break the game.

The only mods that do this are mechjeb and module manager, I’ll give you a log when I get home, could it just be module manger/ mechjeb isn’t updated? I downloaded the newest version

You should be using ModuleManager 4.1.4 and MechJeb 2.11.0  if you're running KSP v1.8 or newer.
