Was this confirmed?

Recommended Posts

I know acceleration out of time warp was confirmed but I think I  recall somewhere that acceleration out of focus was as well (while the ship is not selected), is this correct?

If so, what are the implications of this other than long term out of focus acceleration for craft? Perhaps we will be able to make permanent orientations for craft (holding rotations while unfocused)? Thinking of future satellite network mods that require dish orientation to be correct, for example.

Yeah, that is correct.

That is one situation you can use it for. It could also be used for scanning large swathes of the stars for science, places to travel to, asteroids, etc.

I was particularly thinking about space telescopes again. Can't wait to see what this game turns into

Now I can remake my Solar Cruiser and even if the maneuvers are between 15-90min long, who cares... this is so cool.
Perfect for low thrust/high isp interstellar engines to. Tho time warping 1000 years to get to the Proxima Centauri equivalent might just bee too long :)
