Problem installing Mechjeb

I have been trying to install Mechjeb. Online reference says to download Mechjeb, unzip it, then move it to Game folder. Does that mean  to move it to Squad, or to Kerbal Space Program which is within Squad? Or, is this not correct and if so, what do I do?

If you're referring to this "online reference", you're better off ignoring it. I don't know who wrote that wiki page, but frankly it's an embarrassment. The only thing it gets right is the unzipping part.

All mods go in 'GameData' beside the 'Squad' directory, one subdirectory per mod (with the exception of ModuleManager, which goes directly in GameData). So your MechJeb install should look like this:

    ├── MechJeb2
    │   ├── Bundles
    │   ├── Icons
    │   ├── LandingSites.cfg
    │   ├── LICENSE.md
    │   ├── Localization
    │   ├── Parts
    │   └── Plugins
    └── Squad

If you really need pictures, this tutorial isn't bad.

Or just do yourself a favour and use CKAN.

I'm really not sure what subforum this really belongs in, but I do know it doesn't belong in Un-modded tech support, so we'll just bump this over to Add-on discussion for now.

Thank you steve_v. I found my KSP/GameData folder as a subfolder under my Adobe Lightroom folder which I find quite curious. Nevertheless, it works.
