Real KSP Rockets?

Would there be any way of 'linking' a rocket IRL to KSP and using it as a center of remote control. Even on a scale of a commercial hobby rocket, could KSP receive real telemetry data and  control a rocket IRL? Just doing resource for an essay and had that thought and wondered if any of  fellow nerds may know if that would be possible, even for a mod.

Just add a bunch of realistic mods, and get physics as realistic as possible, add the most powerful computer in the world along with the most powerful GPUs and CPUs and what not, and you should be good to go. Should be just under $50,000.
