Should we reply to the WOW! Signal?

I recently wrote a paper (which I present here https://youtu.be/DbxH_E8Iy1U) suggesting which star has the highest probability of being the source of the WOW! Signal.
 

Do you think that we should reply to the WOW! Signal or not?

I don't think there's much reason to. It's certainly something interesting, though.

Besides the fact that their is no point as others have mentioned the distances involved. Now assuming message delivery time was much more reasonable (<10 years to instantaneous) we don't know what the WOW! signal said (assuming this is an actual ET signal) . If we do get a signal that is 100% from an extraterrestrial creature we would first have to decrypt the signal. It just might not want to be something we respond to.
