Jool too small?

Is it just me or does anyone else think that Jool is small?

It looks quite larger from Laythe I do agree but Compare this

Note: The Jupiter image is comparing earth to jupiter scale if jupiter was the sun.

Jupiter is smaller than the Sun, it can't look bigger than it if it were at the same place.

I edit that! I mean if jupiter was earth and we were the moon or something like that. But still Jool looks small

You've got to remember that the team is only really going for a rough copy of our own system to provide a series of different conditions.

And I'm assuming you mean if we were one of Jupiter's moons.

Also the Human brain and eyes have trouble processing things which are a long way away or which have no frame of reference or scale, thus a full Moon near the horizon looks much larger than a full Moon high in the sky.

Jool is much smaller than Jupiter, but the game has it's limitations.

Your first image is an artists rendition of what it could look like, it's too big if it's supposed to be where the moon is though.

Also, the orbits of Jupiter's moons are much larger than the orbit of our own moon.

I finally made it to Jool.

2500ish days... Not going back until we get another few orders of magnitude on the warping... and prefereably the 4x physics warping for using slow nuclear engines as well.

It was pretty cool though. terminal velocity approx 25m/s, parachute dropped it to less than 2. Then you hit zero on the altimeter and you just keep sinking.
