I was thinking of a good feature we could see in either KSP 1.11 or KSP 2. I would like to see parachutes have an overhaul. This could include (but is not limited to): Soft Body Physics (i know this is hard in unity); Small Small chance of them not deploying correctly (like 1 in a million); Parachutes could be able to catch fire from engine plumes; if they collide with something it could have an aerodynamic effect; if they collide with something they could actually collide and not go through. The soft body physics would be a GAME changer as it would allow many possibilities AND add to the realism

Not going to happen.  Random chance of things just failing for absolutely no reason especially is a ragequit feature.  Realistic?  Sure.  But not the kind of realism that new players are going to expect or enjoy.  "You died!  For no reason.  That's just life.  Start over?  (Y/N)"
