canuck_bc
When I first start my KSP, the initial start-up splash screen reports that I have version 2152. I have a hard time finding that this version even exists. I try however to upgrade to the latest version, and the installer reports that the folder is not valid Any help ?? Gargamel
2152 is the build number, not a version number. The version numbers follow the 1.x.y systen of numbering. I don't know if the build numbers are specific to the version number (ie there could be multiple builds of 2152, each for a different version number, or if they're just consecutive numbers), but there is no real reason to be looking for a build number of KSP, only the version number. Where did you acquire the installer from?
canuck_bc
I downloaded it from www.kerbalspaceprogram.com.. about a year and a half ago.. When I look at the build text file it reports... [config] build id = 02152 2018.04.26 at 22:43:52 CEST Branch: master language = en-us But your answer prompted me to look further into another file called settingsfile.cfg // KSP Game Settings SETTINGS_FILE_VERSION = 1.1.0 LANGUAGE = en-us So I assume this is version 1.1.

The easiest way to tell what version of KSP you have is to open the game and then look on the bottom right of the main menu- the game version is displayed there. It’s probably in a Readme/version file somewhere too.
