VAB crash? (Not sure if in stock too...)

So I've been noticing, ever since trying out 1.11, that the game crashes when going to the VAB around 5% of the time now.  I don't have a lot of mods installed (KAC, PBS, and TACLS), so I'm not sure if it's being caused by mods or if it's something to do with the stock game.  Anyone know anything about it?

Next time it crashes, get the logs and post them in this thread, using this guide:

If the game is crashing the logs will probably say what’s causing it, which could help find and fix the problem. Are the mods you’re using all compatible with 1.11?

One factor of the crashing is your PC specs.

Is your PC (quite) decent enough?

The KSP Devs did not create the game to make it crash. It's on your game, not the game itself.

Not true, they might not have intended to make it crash but there are always bugs, some of which can crash the game.
