Reducing Load Times by Uninstalling Hamachi - is there a workaround?

Hello,  I have a heavily modded installation of KSP 1.10.1 (GameData folder is 9.42GB+) and in a search to reduce load times (I am on an SSD), I see an option that says to uninstall Hamachi, but I cannot really do that as I still use Hamachi to connect to friends' minecraft servers. I have the network adapter disabled for Hamachi (I also hear disabling enabled adapters that are not connected helps), but I am not sure if that is enough to get the improvement. Is there a way to bypass it if disabling the adapter doesn't do it? Thanks!

Try the Hyperspace mod, it can knock a decent chunk out of your load times especially with heavily modded games.

Disabling any virtual adapters _should_ do the trick.
